Dr. Le, Gastroenterologist
Lake Jackson, TX – August 27, 2007 – Brazosport Regional Health System is pleased to welcome Khanh Ngoc Le, MD as the newest member of their compassionate and caring medical team. Dr. Le is a board certified physician and has joined Drs. Meah and Nath at The GI Center in Lake Jackson.
Dr. Le graduated from Tulane University School of Engineering with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering. Graduating in the top quarter of his class, he received his MD from Tulane University School of Medicine.
Dr. Le completed Internal Medicine Residency at Baylor College of Medicine. To further his knowledge, he obtained Gastroenterogy Fellowship training at Tulane Univ School of Medicine and at Baylor College of Medicine. In the course of his Fellowship in Gastroenterology (GI), he was mentored by over 30 expert Gastroenterologists and Hepatologists performing over 1000 endoscopies( EGD, Colonoscopy and ERCP)
Since 1994, Dr. Le has been dedicated to researching medicine in a wide variety of topics. In fact, he has assisted in six clinical and investigative research studies. Some of the more recent topics include Crohn’s Disease, Hepatitis C, and Cardiomyopathy. Dr. Le has also been a part of several publications that has been submitted in the Journal of the Louisiana State Medical Society and the Journal of Investigative Medicine.
