Here at Brazosport Regional Health System, our Intensive Care Unit provides premium patient care for adults with acute, life-threatening disease or injury. We have a state of the art 8-bed intensive care unit designed to meet the needs of every patient. From medical to surgical, our critical care nurses partner with our physicians, surgeons and other members of the health care team 24 hours a day to ensure quality care for each individual patient.
Our nurses are certified in critical care and advanced cardiac life support. We provide the best nursing practice aimed towards autonomy for our critically ill patients. Our area of services include pharmacological and ventilator therapies as well as advanced computerized monitoring for our critically ill patients. Other specialty areas of service include cardiac, pulmonary, renal, multi-organ system failure, sepsis, and acute respiratory failure.
Patients’ families are encouraged to visit their loved ones. However, due to the critical nature of our patients, we do have limited times that family members may visit. Our Intensive Care Unit is a patient/family oriented department. We have an onsite critical care educator for any questions that may arise. At Brazosport Regional, we work with the physicians, nurses, and families to guarantee patient satisfaction.

8:00 PM – 8:20 PM
**Please limit visitors to only two people at a time.
**Children under the age of 14 are not allowed inside the intensive care unit.
